Brandi Taylor

Brandi is a Rockford native and mother of one. Brandi earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Services from Judson University in 2011. Because of her passion to help others Brandi decided a few years later to return back to school. Brandi earned her Master’s in Social Work degree from George Williams College of Aurora University. Brandi started her career in social work over 20 years ago working with teenagers with behavior disorders. Most of Brandi’s Social Work career was at Rosecrance where she worked close to 15 years. While working at Rosecrance she earned her Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certification. Brandi has worked with adolescents and adults who suffered from addiction and behavioral issues by helping them re-enter into the community and giving them the tools and resources that they needed to live a sober and fulfilling life. Brandi is knowledgeable of the different facets of addiction and recovery. Brandi has years of experience with life skills, mindfulness, and psychodynamic therapy. Most people can benefit from having an unbiased person who would not judge but offer a listening hear. Brandi is excited about being a part of Counseling Associates of Rockford and providing individuals with support and guidance through life’s journey. In her spare time, she enjoys going out to eat, traveling, and singing karaoke with her family. Brandi also enjoys spending time with their new family pet, Polo.
