Ashley Marlow
LCPC, Registered Art Therapist

Ashley Marlow is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art from Rockford University where she studied studio art, psychology, and art history. She continued her education at Adler University and obtained a Master of Art in Counseling and Art Therapy.

Ashley has worked in a retirement facility, private practice, and residential psychiatric hospital. She has worked closely with children, adolescents, and adults in individual and group settings. She has experience treating symptoms of anxiety, depression, mania, trauma, relationship issues, and difficult life transitions. Combining traditional talk therapy with art therapy, Ashley helps her clients explore the concerns that initiated counseling and possible solutions. Her use of art making within sessions allows clients to express themselves creatively and provides clarity that words may not offer. Respecting all different walks of life, Ashley strives to create a warm, nonjudgmental space for her clients to work through their stressors and find more authentic ways of living.

When she’s not in her office, Ashley enjoys spending time with her husband, two kids, and dogs. Her own artwork includes drawings, paintings, and sculptures.
