Danielle is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Mathematics from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Aurora University. Danielle began her career in the education field while also providing in-home ABA therapy to children with autism. She then transitioned to a nonprofit supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities who experience behavioral difficulties.
During her time working for a nonprofit, Danielle served as a case manager, a behavioral specialist, and the professional development and quality coordinator, while also acting as a part of the leadership team. Danielle has extensive experience in supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their caretakers. She also has experience in crisis intervention/prevention, trauma, communication and social skills training, emotional regulation techniques, and advocacy.
Danielle is passionate about creating an authentic therapeutic relationship, creating a safe, judgement free space, and working collaboratively with clients to navigate challenges. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy in addition to other treatment modalities to help clients identify their strengths, engage in problem-solving, self-discovery, and become empowered to improve their quality of life. Danielle works with children, adolescents, and adults.
Appointments are available Monday-Friday with both daytime and evening availability.
