Tacheeva Francis joined Counseling Associates in 2021. She has earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Aurora University and obtained a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Throughout her employment history, Tacheeva has provided therapy for children and adults at a not-for-profit organization as well as worked many years providing resources, empowerment, and support for individuals within the judicial system.
Tacheeva’s intent is to provide a supportive, non-judgmental, and safe therapeutic space when working with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, grief, and challenges with anger management. Her counseling approach is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and client-centered techniques.
